Thirteen Things about Me not Addressed in the Questions:

1. Tom is the best musician, photographer, and digital / traditional artist I have ever had the privilege of knowing and I can never tell whether I should be incredibly jealous of him or incredibly inspired by him.  (The fact that I hold him in such high regard as an artist has nothing to do with the fact that he's also, incidentally, my fiancé.)
2. Despite the fact that nearly half of my Deviations to date are poems, I actually for the most part really don't like poetry.  William Blake's The Tyger is a rare exception to that. 
3. I am asexual. 
4. I obsess over my dog slightly more than I obsess over other people's dogs, but mostly because he gets jealous if I don't obsess over him most.
5. I'm a bit of a typography nerd.
6. I'm a linguistics nerd.
7. Actually, I challenge you to find me a single field in academia that I won't totally nerd over if given the opportunity.  I don't think one exists.
8. A few years ago I wrote a fairly thorough essay on how the economic potential of the Iron Islands should not be overlooked or underestimated.  Purely for fun.

11. I am INTP, and I have Attention Deficit Disorder, Output Disorder, an IQ in the 'Very Superior' range, Major Depressive Disorder, and Generalised Anxiety Disorder.  (In other words, my brain is all kinds of fucked up.)
12. Aside from DeviantArting and other activities alluded to elsewhere in this journal, I play harp, I fence, and I self-teach languages (especially conlangs) and Polynesian dance (especially hula).
13. I have almost no sense of smell, and usually when I do smell things, normal people don't smell anything / don't smell what I'm smelling.

    Oriki (an OC.  Of whom art will potentially be uploaded here one day).
 

    I read as much as I possibly can.  There are LLLOOOTTT of books that could qualify as my favourite.  Off the top of my head, The Language of Genes by Steve Jones or pretty much anything by Karen Maitland.  Karen Maitland is everything.

    I'm the kind of person who isn't exaaactly a gamer, but has a modest Steam library and would probably be a proper gamer if I had any money / free time to speak of.  Age of Empires (including AoE I, AoE II, AoE III, and Age of Mythology) is where it's at.
 

    I either go for insane bold colours and crazy patterns, or just minimalist greys and blacks and cool colours.  Mostly I just wear whatever fits.
